Faustina Obeng Adomaa is a PhD candidate of the Knowledge, Technology and Innovation Chair Group. She is working on the CoCIfaM Project --"Cocoa crop improvement, farms and markets: a sceince based approach to sustainably improving farmer food security in Ghana and Ivory Coast". Specifically, she is working on inclusiveness of service delivery initiatives to smallholder cocoa farmers in Ghana and Ivory Coast.

She has worked on projects on farming households and sustainable farming systems in Ghana, forms of agriculture commercialisation and their impact on land commercialisation and food security in Ghana, and more recently on the role of actors in the shea value chain in Ghana and Burkina Faso.

She had her Bachelors (BA) degree in Geography and Political Science, and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Geography and Resource Development with special emphasis on Agricultural geography and the Geography of Gender from the University of Ghana, Legon.

Role project(s)

In the NWO Wotro cocoa project, I am a PhD Candidate working on service delivery models that fit the complexities of the cocoa sector in Ghana.
