I am a Peruvian Agroforestry engineer and I hold an MSc. degree in Plant Sicences from Wageningen University. I am interested in agroforestry systems, soil quality and soil carbon dynamics. I am currently working as a Research Assitant in the CocoaSoils project. Some previous work involved assessing soil organic matter dynamics in silvopastoral systems in Colombia, participating in the Landmark project taking soil samples and interviewing farmers across Europe, and collaborating with CIAT in their efforts to screen the Cd problem in cacao in Latinamerica.
In the CocoaSoils project, I work in data management and collection. I also co-coordinate the Core and Satellite Trials activities. I am part of the training team together with my colleagues Stefan Hauser and Leonard Rusinamhodzi. I am working developing protocols for the implementation of the project. Based on these protocols, I elaborate on ODK forms used for data collection.
